Nowak-Thompson Farm -House Concert, Mt. Vernon, IA July 1, 2018

Just 7 months and 14,000 miles ago Brian and Jo Nowak-Thompson's farm was our first stop after Thanksgiving as we started out on this tour.  It was mind blowing to see all that Brian and Jo had accomplished since we had last visited.  It is a beautiful little homestead and a great place for a Barn- House Concert.  Neighbors and friends gathered early Sunday evening for wood fired pizza and a real Midwest pot luck prior to the concert.  There was so much food you couldn't begin to try everything.  I gave it my best shot.  The fireflies closed out the evening with their sparkling show.  Friends/Northland alumni Chelly and Mark Eichenger and Mike Burmingham traveled a couple of hours to visit and see the show.  We are grateful!
