The Learning Council Concert, Paonia and Hotchkiss and Dolores, CO

We had a great time in Western Colorado visiting old friends, making new friends, seeing the sites, making music and good times.  First we found Jan Moran in Delores, CO where she hooked us up with a lovely and free campsite at Boggy Draw, toured us through Mesa Verde and hosted dinner with friends including Jeff Tunick.  In Hotchkiss we hooked up with Mary Ganchoff, former roomate, Ashland resident and Northland grad.  We were delighted to meet her husband Dave Whitemire, hear of all of their adventures and eat Alaskan Black Bass for the first time, YUM!  In Paonia we had our first concert of the tour.  It was a lovely night in Alicia Michelsen's yard where a small and enthusiastic crowd was satisfied with a especially great show.  Thanks to you all!  We love the western slope.  Thanks you all for a great time!
